@KeepinItRealLKO You might not find anything in your window. A lot of times clean up and coral reef restoration dives are scheduled on weekends. Dixie divers has a Deerfield Beach Pier underwater cleanup every year on a June Saturday. Most of the reef work days I've seen in the Keys start on a Thursday or Friday with the main days are on the weekend. Many of the folks interested in doing cleanup dives are working Florida divers, thus the emphasis on a weekend dive.I know it's been a while since anyone has posted to this thread, but I am wondering if there are any planned cleanup dives in the St. Lucie, Marin, Palm Beach County areas in mid-July. We will be in the area for vacation and we'd love to participate in a cleanup dive. Our available dates are Monday, July 14 - Thursday, July 17. Thanks for any info you can share!
That's what I was afraid of, based on my initial looks. My AOW certification is scheduled for the weekend of July 12-13 and we are driving back the following weekend; thus, the reason for the weekday availability.@KeepinItRealLKO You might not find anything in your window.
