Hey guys, I lost my Mares Puck wrist mount. I am looking for a new back up bottom timer. I want something cheap and reliable. I dont want the puck again only because of the one button system gets annoying. I am looking for something around 100.00 which may not be possible, but thought maybe you guys would know of something I havent seen. Any ideas?

It's called a watch.

You can get a G-shock for cheap.

Well I would like it to double as a back up computer, in case my Luna ever kicked the bucket or any other issues I could have on a dive trip

In which case you're looking for a back-up dive computer.
I doubt you can find anything new for $100 and anything better than one-button puck/veo for much less than $200. Your best option is probably: Amazon.com: Aeris A300 Wrist Computer ~Includes now FREE the Digital online class to get the most out of your dive computer.: Sports & Outdoors

I actually know a guy looking to get rid of a couple OMS/UWATEC bottom timers. He's not on here. He's one of my facebook contacts. Friend me there and I'll put you in touch with him.

I know someone too who's selling an almost new Scubapro bottom timer too, let me know if you want me to check with him.

haha yeah I guess you are right. I am looking for a simple Back up Computer. Although I cant stop looking at the Petrel 2. I really like that computer. haha

Thanks Jim, but dmaziuk is right, not looking for just a bottom timer.

Thanks for the heads up about your buddy though.

Also, might look into why it's not a good idea to have 2 different computers (algorithms) with one as a back up. I can highly recommend the petrel 2. Also, you could consider just a bottom timer and ratio deco as your back up.
