I own an UWATEC Aladin pro nitrox computer for some time now and I thought that it is time to connect it to my computer to get some more info from the dives.
The only problem is that I don't have an interface or software to work with.
Can someone help me with this ?

I am an electronic technision so I'm well trained in building electronic circuits.

If it's anything like the SmartCom, you'll be better off just buying adapter and software (either new or used).

Even if you get the hardware working, the data stream is pretty much useless without detailed documentation.

The software is Free and can be found here. http://us.uwatec.com/products/software.asp

If you're not from the US... Find your language.

The IR interface, is ANY IR interface. Use a laptop, or get a cheap USB IR interface.

AFAIK, the Alladin uses a hardware (wired) adapter. It's not IR like the SmartCom.

That is correct. Also the adapter that is shown in the links requires The DOS version of the Uwatec DataTrak software which is not too compatible with newer computers although patches are available from the links I provided. I use the Paladin software with my Aladin and Palm Pilot and transfer my dives from the Palm Pilot to the computer rather than directly from the Aladin Pro Nitrox that I use. All the information is on the sites I provided, if you have any problems finding the info you want PM me.
If you want to keep all your dives on your Palm Pilot this program allows you to collect more information than Paladin alone.
