I am planning to do an Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedure Course (combined) this winter (Florida, Yeah Baby :D )

I live in Melbourne, i.e. East coast of Florida and am looking for a qualified instructor. Any recommendations or advice?

Lesley is highly regarded as an experienced & skilled Technical Diver and a very personable, friendly Instructor. . .

I did my TDI Advanced Nitrox / Decompression Procedures with Rick Murcar, GDI here on the board. He is based in Ridge Manor, Florida, a bit north of Tampa. He is excellent. About a year after I took the Advanced Nitrox / Decompression Procedures classes from him I returned and took my cave diving classes from him.

He has a business website here, or you can send him a PM here on the board. In my opinion the trip west for you would be worth it.

Scuba G did you ever take the class and where? I am in Ft Lauderdale and very interested in pursing further dive training. If you wish you can PM instead of posting to the thread. Thanks

I did my Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures with Rick Murcar, (aka GDI here) TDI instructor. He is a great instructor and an excellent diver. I would highly recommend him. He was very prompt to reply to my emails and very accommodating in scheduling the dates for the class.

From everything I have read the instructor is really the most important part of the class. Thank you for the recommendation. I hope to get it done this winter.
