Looking for a good operator in Cancun?

I will be visting Cancun the next month, and i will like to get some advice in which operator to use, dove with Aquaworld several times before, but they are such i big operation and i kind of cover all the dive sites they usually go to.

I will like to try somebody else this time, and if possible and time allowed take my caves diver certification which will become very handy while wreck diving in Massachusetts.

I will be staying in Down Town Cancun, and that is a beat of a pain caz the most of the operators won't pick you up down there, but if you know or you are one please let me know, is a pain in the neck to find a cab in the morning, (specially when your condo is located next to Costco).

Hi Rafael,

For CUN diving out of CUN, I like Solo Buceo http://www.solobuceo.com/default1.htm, but Scuba Cancun http://www.scubacancun.com.mx/ and Manta Divers http://mantadivers.com/ also are a step up from Aquaworld.

For cavern/cave cert, go with Rogelio Maier.

For cavern/cave, I'd recommend Pez Diablo (Dennis) www.diablodivers.com, here on the board.

Scuba Cancun is good, so is Manta Divers. Cenote dives like the Bat Cave and Dos Ojos are fun and easy if you get a chance.

I been talking with Mimi from Manta divers, she is been pretty nice to me so i guess i will use manta for this trip, but thanks for your input guys.

I hope you had a great time in Cancun, i personally did.

I end up using Manta divers for the most of my dives, it was really good.
