...JB is a bit more organized, so now he puts them in bags. ?? why, not sure.

JB has good judgement. I started putting them in huge zip loc bags just to keep foriegn objects from finding there way into reg and then either being inhaled or just jamming up the works at an inoppurtune moment. I used to just coil them up in a carry on with masks and camera equipment but if a screw or spring etc from one of the other items worked loose it could be a problem. Also lint from clothes and such. The "free" padi bag that you get with a subscrption to sport diver also works well for 2 regs but has no padding. :D

PS: I was enlightened to this after inhaling a dose of crushed coral when taking a test breath from my alternate.

Yea, I did. But...Target, I do miss.

okay---so here is the picture:

and while I was at it....the rolling duffle is about 30 bucks at Costco. We get two sets of gear in there, believe it or not. One BP/W and one Zeagle...

yes! Stahlsacks are the Rolls Royce's of dive bags. Wish I had some...love their line.

Also from personal experience: go to hardware store and buy a stick of silicone zipper glide and use it on the duffel bag zipper. Salt water has a way of creating havoc with zippers not specifically designed for it. My samsonite luggage doubled as a dive bag for 1 season and the following year all the zippers were frozen or on their way.

I have been known to use the free diaper bags given out by the formula companies when you leave the hospital with your new baby.
Now I'm not talking about the the baby blue or pink ones with flowers which are definetly not DIR.:no But the Enfimil ones are basic black, padded, plenty of pockets and a handy carrying strap. These just might pass for DIR.:)

All kidding aside they do work well and it seems like you get at least two or three of them with every baby, what a deal.
