Wouldn't ya know a Sunday......and I am back working Sundays. Maybe next time.

When would be a good time for ya...I live 5 minutes away. We could plan a dive another time.

I would be interested. Going today to do the sugar barge but will make the rip again on Sunday

Mote, I'll be looking forward to hearing with what you came up with today :multi:

Point O Rocks is a nice reef, for snorkeling, but too shallow ( <6ft) to be worth hauling dive gear. Although I have it on good authority that the far south end of the reef line is a bit deeper(about 15 ft). There were a lot of table rocks with holes and crevise and a fair number of of fish hiding in the holes but it did not live up to the hype and certainly not worth the workout. We didn't dive the shrimpboat yesterday, tides and wind made it impractical, so I'll try it another time, along with the Longboat key ledges. Frogman & Dkramer thanks for being such good sports about the dive. Maybe next time, I'll do a bit more research before posting.
