Sea Trek Diving on Anna Maria Island (next island north of LBK). Pete and Loraine have a full service shop and can arrange charters for you. There's also a wreck, the Regina (Florida's newest state underwater preserve), right across the street. Not the prettiest wreck, but 100 yds off the beach and an easy shore dive.

Tell Rich from Friends of Regina said "HI"!

Thanks! Man I was worried no one would respond. How deep is that wreck? Man Im excited, a wreck on a shore dive how amazing.

The Regina is in about 15-18ft of water. Head down the coast to Venice, or a couple of reefs out off the shore just north and south of the Regina (in Deloach's book they are called 3rd pier and Spanish Rocks), less than a mile either side of the Regina. I had wondered if there was anything more directly around LBK when my family stayed there last year, but didnt hear anything i hadnt already dove in that area.

I ended up doing 2 boat dives w/ Scuba Quest. They were VERY nice folks, we went to 2 sites that were mediocre at best. Had fun as always.
