thats the spirit.....

now you have had your attitude reajusted..... go get this guy. Men sometimes actually like being chased, and the rest of them often need some PRETTY STRONG hints.....

He can consider himself chased . . . for the time being.

scbababe:
Well, explain that to us. Some of the guys I know say when a woman comes on to them it's a turn off, because they (the guys) like to do the chasing. How do we know when or how to chase without coming on as agressive?

this is clarified? Mark??

drbill:
No, Xiaoyan and I have yet to meet, but we've been averaging a dozen e-mails a day, all with real content (or at least good humor... and I'm not referring to ice cream!). Heck, I DON'T know I'm the official SB stud. Although several of my ex's would agree, I certainly don't see myself that way. What I do is be aware of what the woman in my life wants and try to ensure she gets it. It really is nothing but shallow self-interest (somewhat enlightened)... if she enjoys our physical relationship, she will not only come back for more but initiate it as well.

Bill

Hmm - a dozen emails a day, with substantial content - and the official SB stud. Xiaoyan is one lucky lady!

How do you pronounce her name, BTW?

Nehallenia, PUT DOWN YOUR KNITTING AND GET OUT OF THE ROCKER ON THE PORCH.

what, are you kidding me, you have got to be one of the smartest funniest most sensitive people that I have met on the SB, and for me that is a far greater attraction than a set of silicone boobs.

The point in fact is that I am now in a relationship with a lady that I basically met on line. We had become firm friends well before we got to know eachother in person. There is nothing wrong with physical attraction, but in a relationship, it is a bonus not a driving force.

1000 miles is just a keystroke away! Make friends with the guy, after that, when you meet again in person, if it is going to happen it will happen, if not, well you made a friend online. you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
WOW! THis guy goes at the speed of light, and two of you were dazzled at the speed of an airline ticket.
I was thinking, "Doesn't anyone but me fly?"
500 miles; two hours, and I was figuring in a short trip to an airport. So, maybe three hours with all the extra security checks.

I'm not very good at chasing anymore, must have wore the tread off my tennys. But I know I enjoy a woman's attention.
I don't think I'd enjoy pick-up lines anymore than I've ever enjoyed hearing men use them on women or women who appeared gullible enough to go for them.
So, I suppose for me, it's about how aggressive, verses assertive. I've always been too dumb for hints, and I've been frighted by too forceful.
Dang, I sound as bad as I've claimed against the fairer sex at times.
I guess if you can get your message across without a mallet, do it, but if it takes a mallet, get it out.

Tom

Nehallenia:
Yes, indeed, most people would find it extremely funny that I referred to myself as a lady!
Ooh, and that self-effacing humor. Not too bad, if not delivered too strongly.

I've been trying to figure out how to spell it phonetically to post it. The sound of the first syllable rhymes with Ciao but has an initial sound that stumps me. I can't think of anything phonetically that sounds like it. Good thing I can say it.

Tokyo just got pelted with another typhoon, the worst in ten years. It's been a record here there for typhoons. Same with Florida. Hmmm.

Well, I can kind of guess now. The Asian languages are very different from English, or any European language. A friend at university hailed from Hong Kong, and I recall him saying "you are the only English person I know who says my name correctly". I had to really listen carefully to him saying it, and consciously imitate him.

I certainly hope Xiaoyon is safe from the storms.

I'll never get past security - I voted for the Green Party! :11:
