Turns out we're actually going Wednesday, since it's supposed to thunderstorm Tuesday. As such, I am not sure LadyHog is going to meet up with us afterall, but we'll see.

Without her, we are 3, and so are looking for a 4th, or anything that restores an even number.

We'll be getting there around 6:30PM - early evening dive, if that works for you.

If you're interested, you can contact me directly:

I am planning to tag along with LadyHog if nothing will change. :D
I'll let you know if something will change, so you'll have an idea how many to expect. ;)

If you have to get there before 8:00pm, is there a closing time? Do they allow night dive?

No closing time. I asked. I assume 8 is when the office closes.

Okay, I was at the Quarry today - when you come down water street from Queen St, the East Quarry is on your right (that's the one you can dive in) followed by tennis courts. There is a small parking lot between the two for parking and gearing up. The "swimming" quarry is on your left. If you get there after 5, the lady at the tourist info office / train station / recreation office (gotta love small towns) asks that you leave signed waivers and $5 in the mail slot beside front door.

There IS a TIM HORTONS in town just a few blocks down from the train station. Oh yeah, hospital in town too - not that we'll need it!!

No dive, took children and went swimming, explored. Plan to return tomorrow and dive it. Will post follow up.

For those attending, bring your knife/shears. Told there's lots of fishing line.

So, you are coming in from the north (Queen St). You say the East quarry is on your right. According to Mapquest that means it's actually the body of water on the north side of Water St. (and, oddly, further to the west) - that's where we'll be diving.

The swimming one is on the south side. That makes sense, it's the one with the giant diving board.

I'd ask how many people are coming, but I fear that this thread will be inundated with 'me too' messages. I think it's as many as eight. (never seen a seen 'flash crowd' before...)

Not coming. Just wanting to know how the dive went. :)

Yes. No. I was addressing LadyHog's description of the site. She came in from the North.

My quote lists you as the poster, but that's an error.
