ok for those who cant make weekends
how about a monday evening (the 14th) in London Victoria
there are quite a few little pubs down the back streets of belgravia near where i work, or there are the mainstream JD Weatherspoons and the like at Victoria

should be an ideal way to get rid of that monday morning feeling :)

all those in favor say AYE
and those that cant make it have your good excuses on a postcard (no Jonathan, being in japan is NOT a good excuse!)

I'm going to have to give it a miss - recovering from a mild heart attack three weeks ago. Curtailed diving activities for a bit too which is a real downer!;-0

I hope you are jesting when you say you just had a heart attack?

If not, then I trust that you are recovering well?

I can't make 14 July, I am afraid, fellows.

Regards
Jim

Wish I was jesting - luckily only a mild one but still a major wake up call. I'm waiting to find out what the verdict is going to be re me diving again.

Ian

damn ian that was rather sudden! hope you are recovering well! hope it doesnt curtail your diving too much, that would be a downer indeed, good luck on the recovery path mate, take it easy!

im sure those of us in london can make more than one drink session? that will be the only day/week that Scuba Texan can make it as he goes back to the lonestar state at the end of the week, so i was trying to tie it all in together :)

anyone object to doing more than one drink night so we can arrange for a day when jim/others are available too?

let me just check... no, I'm still me.

That will be fine, more than one drink night it is

Clootie

ps Ian - hope the ticker is doing better, and that you will be able to convince a doc that nitrogen (and getting rid of stress) is good for it. Tho maybe nice easy tropical diving is the best way to get back in.... it's probably a sign that you need a holiday anyway

I wish you a speedy recovery and a positive prognosis on your future diving. I'm sorry I won't get to meet you, but perhaps another time.

Take care,

Ken

Many Thanks for all your best wishes. I'm seeing my specialist on 18th and hoping, if he ok's it, to be back in the water for a gentle dive at the end of the month on something shallow.
