Login Problems

I have received a message from a user who can not log on to SB.

They tried to use Firefox and Internet Explorer...

Here's the error they continually get, and it is causing them much aggravation.

"There seems to have been a problem with the ScubaBoard database.
Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, whom you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

Apparently - they can browse the forums as a guest, but can't log in (BTW - they don't think they would be banned for any reason)

There are several reports like this coming in now. It's some kind of error that is being worked on as we speak (hopefully!)

I'll get that error message every once in a while too . . . usually I just go do something else and when I come back later everything is working great!

I have been getting that error when using firefox since about 7pm last night. If I use IE I am automatically logged in so I assume I have cookie in IE with my user credentials.

Likewise. And its rather frustrating, because I spend most of my day thinking about the threads on the board, then when I get home, i can't check!
