I am just curious to see what everyone is using for log books and log book refills.

I started off using the blue PADI Logbook/Training Record but after filling that up, I switched over to the loose PADI refill pages.

I like the format, has all the necessary info, and is made from a coated paper unlike a lot of the others I've seen.

I also have everything logged digitally using DiveLog.

I download mine off my computer into MacDive. If there is any thing notable, I can type it in and save log pages as PDFs. It can even look for photos with the same time and date stamp and automatically import them.

If you want paper logs, don't waste money buying them - there are plenty of templates online, or you could easily knock some of your own up.

Used excel to create a homemade "buddy team" dive log sheet. We print out enough blanks prior to each dive trip.

Also capture all dive profiles in a palm pilot.

I just made my own and print them.

A small(5.5x8") 200 page journal. All dives contain basic stuff such as date, time, site, buddy, depth, avg depth, watre conditions air used and RMV. Write-ups could be 2 line to 3 pages. I probably get about 150 dives to a journal. I also keep emergency info and equipment info in it.

I filled out the PADI log book that came with materials for OW and training courses. I had thought about the bigger zippered binder with loose pages but decided upon a plain log book they sell at my LDS that comes in a waterproof plastic bag. I did get my previous log book wet and was a big headache to dry it out.
