Thats some scary stuff. Glad to see he is going to be OK.

You can get bent in ten feet of water you don't need to be deep.

That is scarey. Scarey enough to make you think twice about diving sometimes.
Or at least scary enough to make you think about what you are doing and how you are doing it. There are simple precautions you can take to minimize the risk....

Good that he's doing better.
This is really a rarely well writen article that presents facts and information to the public without mentioning diving with oxygen tanks and alike.

I'll wager that the reporter is probably a diver. Well written article. Glad to here the guy will be OK.

In the local paper today one of the local guys got bent. whatever the wreck they were diving between Pelee Island and Point Pelee couldn't be deep as most of those wrecks are usally 35 feet or less

Rooster,

Thank you for the link. It's very good to hear about an emergency plan being enacted properly. & to have a good outcome.

I realize one can get bent at any depth. But, I was thinking there were a couple wrecks - The Clarion and The Willis where you can reach 65/70 foot. Yes? Or are those farther out?

If he isn't a diver, kudos for him for a well researched article
