Yeah... great sense of smell, but they make up for it with a lousy attention span.

Yes, that's the one.

Lobster psychology here says that mabye they have ladd,(lobster attention defisit disorder). Now do they have lobster oxicontin?

I think the guy who made all those films is in jail right now for underage girls being in the films. Then he tried to bribe the jailer I think afterwards. even more trouble.
Yeah, and as I hear it, as soon as he gets out, he's going to be escorted to Nevada to stand trial for additional charges there.

i just read the secret life of lobsters , good book. yes they can smell you!! also if you ever come upon one stop and listen they start clicking to warn the others

A Google search on
"Biomimetic Robots for Shallow Water Mine Countermeasures"

produces a great pdf document where they explain a study made on lobsters in order to build "Robolobster". I couldn't upload the document but I'm sure it is a not a restricted document.

Si instead of having aplanet of the apes type scenario, we have a planet of the lobsta.

I've got to ask, Ana, Why on earth were you googling "Biomimetic Robots for Shallow Water Mine Countermeasures?"

Never mind....just don't follow to close behind her on a dive if you're not her buddy. :D

I didn't just run into that document, I followed their design, along with some similar ones. These days I deal with AUV's and underwater robotics, it's a beatiful thing.
I suggested the google search because I couldn't upload the files myself.

I would think they would be able to sense or feel the roar from the bubbles of exhalation, It would be like a boeing 747 buzzing your house at a 1000 ft., I belive that they have reseptors or sensors like that.
