How hard is it to actually find large keepers like this when diving in the unrestricted area off Cape Cod?

Also, where would one go for this?

Very funny. I was asking if it was common to come back with big ones like this in the Cape. I'm not asking you to give away your favorite locations.
 
Just like anywhere else, you have to find them. You can bump into bigguns up on Cape Anne, the difference is you can come home with them from the Cape

Be sure to take a look at the diagram that came with your licence, it shows the area where it is legal to take them. In short, its the area from Ptown, followed towards the Race, around to the outside and south towards Chatham. If you can find them in that area you get to keep them. Also the minimum size is larger there. Matt posted a link to the DMF earlier in this thread.
