Anyone has recommendations for a liveaboard that sails from Phuket to the Similan Islands? A buddy and I are thinking of getting on one around the last week of Oct or first week of Nov.

There are lots of boats with all there own pro's and cons. So the question is: what are you looking for? Bathrooms en-suite or shared bathrooms, cabins with double bed or singles, how long do you want to be on the boat, what kind of price range are you looking at, any language preferences, etc.
In general: you get what you pay for, but of course some of the boats offer better value for the same money than others.

On www.thailand-scuba.com/similans.pho you will find a nice overview that could help you getting an idea.

Have fun.

I've only been once a couple of years ago. Went with one called Scuba Cat (based in Kata beach I think). Great boat, service and diving.

Not sure about now, this was a while back.

Just ask Sunrise to set you guys up, he seems to know the in and outs of this industry pretty well in Thailand.

Have fun in Thailand
