From Buddy's own website Our Yachts

Smooth, stylish, spacious and comfortable, M.Y. Wolf Buddy and M.Y. Darwin Buddy, the newest and most spacious liveaboard dive-yachts in the archipelago of Galapagos, are much more than just two floating hotels.

The two 120 Feet (36 m) long yachts with 4 decks, which form Buddy Dive’s Liveaboard’s fleet
, are custom designed by Buddy Dive and Varadero Maridueña in Guayaquil, Ecuador, which took them 12 months to design and 11 months to build.

If the whole fleet is doing a Dick Cheney, how are they running a diving business? Other than accepting cash payments for future trips?

What is a "Dick Cheney"?

What is a "Dick Cheney"?

Disappearing to an "undisclosed location" I presume.

Going on life support for a heart transplant, Hiding out after the 2nd DUI arrest, too many Chaney options.

Eliminating Al Qaeda's plan for a liveaboard operation based on the horn of North Africa/Red Sea.

Starting the first North Korean liveaboard.

Diving North Korea, that's what I dreaming about. I hear the mine fields are really pretty in summer and navigating through one cuts surface interval boredom. Night dives might be a bitch and one need be careful to make certain what they are tying off too is a mouring buoy.

My guess is that a repo notice as shown in the OP posted on a board such as this will generate the desired response when the operation on one side of the dispute gets a few hundred inquiries as to why they haven't paid their bill to the shipyard's satisfaction.....

That would be an interesting way to push for a desired result. It could backfire on them, causing a struggling company to suffer more damage from internet scuttlebut. That's why I phrased the OP the way I did- I have absolutely no idea if this is true or not- I just got it in a mass mailing.

The Nekton was brought up here in previous posts- the piling-on here at ScubaBoard by pissed-off employees played a huge part in rapidly accelerating their demise.

Wonder why we haven't heard boo on this from the on-site Galapagos Scuba Board regulars?

I agree that something like this can be come a self fulfilling proficiency. I would really like to hear from someone that has been on one of the boats lately to confirm they are indeed running or someone that has first hand knowledge.

Well, I have. I'm more interested in why we haven't heard from the management of the company, even if it's "We're in a dispute, we're running while the dispute sorts itself out."
