A few years ago I started a project to put some info on Little Cayman shore diving on the web, then got distracted and dropped the project about half completed. What I did complete is still sitting there, though. You can access it at Shore Diver.

For a first time to the Caymans, we might just do Sunset House on GC and get our bearings from there. The 3 1/2 hr direct flight from Boston is a treat compared to most other Caribbean locations. Bonaire is about 13 hours!
 
Can't comment about Sunset House specifically, but I do know that the west end of Grand Cayman is basically 'cruise ship central'. .

cobalt coast is on the NW side of the island. . . far away from the cruise ships. It was a rather secluded spot, tourist wise. The closest we got to cruise ship passengers was when we went to their turtle reef shop ( which is since been moved to the lighthouse pt) that was near the turtle farm. Maggi
