Has anyone tried using Energizer Lithium batteries instead of Alkaline batteries with their lights? I use these for all my land-based needs as they provide several times more power than the Alkaline equivalents. Any problems with using them at depth (say, 30 - 50m)?

Got a bunch for lights and they work just fine. Depth shouldn't affect them at all.

Some equipment makers seem to recommend them. The Dive-Rite handheld 10w HID backup light mentions them as a longer lasting power source.

I just put some in one of my dive lights, going to see how well they do.

NiMH has a short shelf life before losing charge, weighs more, and is still pricey. The lithium batteries are one time use, have a 15 year shelf life with minimal loss of energy output, and last longer per set. I want my lights to stay charged until I need them, and last as long as possible.
