It is time for a change. I have been using a nylon cord/line for the dive flag that I tow around. I would like to respool with a line that will float which as far as I know would have to be a polyproplene. The nylon one always wants to get caught up on fins or on my 1st stage. Any recomendations as far as brand or vendor would be appreciated.:coffee:

If you are not using a reel and are just towing a length of line, I do the following:
Buy cheap poly line yellow 3/16" at home depot and also buy some clear vinyl tubing. 10 ft with an internal diameter that just barely allows the rope to pass through.

To rig, run the line through the tube and then tie a knot on each side of tubing and you carry the tubing end of the rope. The tubbing is somewhat stiff and will not wrap around the fins and regulator
