with an AL80 and a 3 mm... hm... do you think that's enough lift?
probably yes if you don't use too much weight. New divers, however, tend to be overweighed, hence they are probably better off with a 27lb wing.. but of course, it's really stupid what I am saying now, because everybody should avoid "buying a solution" for a problem that doesn't exist, and try to work on using as little weight and as little of a wing as possible.
