Light recommendations

As I started looking for some good Cave Lithts can't seems to find any hi-end light. As far for now I'm thinking about Bigblue TL18000P but it could be overkill as the head is quite bulky and big in dimensions. And not sure if there is some review for this light avalible seems for now that nobody who use this lite made some review. I'm looking for some strong beam LED light for caves what are your Top choices ??

It’s power is just fine dude. You don’t dive on paper do you?

It’s equal to or better than a 21w HID in the water.

The focus 2 is fantastic.

Still using the Halcyon 21W HID with E/O cord and several battery packs for multiple dives. Is there a LED light head than can be used with a 11.1 Volt 6.3 Ah battery pack?

If that LED head would have a similar form factor than the big Halcyon HID head, even better. I like having the option of hitting the cave gremlins with a big Delrin club in case I catch them in the act. Just kidding, but that big thing hangs always straight down when clipped off and a piece of inner tube holds a few arrows and cookies neatly around the flat side of the transformer housing for quick access.

There is nothing wrong with the HID light, IMO. I like the color, focus and spill. I deal with the fragility of the bulbs by having two light heads in my gear and carry a halogen bulb tube for the Halcyon head on each dive. Just getting a case of LED envy, I guess.

@Lobzilla if you want that form factor of the light head, then you are restricted to Halcyon and Light Monkey. They all run on 11.1v packs.
Of those, I would second @PfcAJ and recommend a focus light head and you can get an EO cable on just the head

I love this OrcaTorch D620 canister light to be light, rugged and able to generate the 2,700 lumens it is rated to have. I use this on a daily basis for cave diving.

I have zero problems with my UWLD LD35. It's awesome and I really like the Gen5 can. I also don't have any problems with my HOG branded LM HID, although the UWLD is definitely my preference.

If I could get the Focus 2.0 or LM 32W VF head on my UWLD can that would be the best of both worlds, only because the LD35 beam isn't quite as tight as I'd like in gross water. It's not really a problem, it would just cut through crap a little better with a tighter beam angle.

I don't like rechargeables for backup lights because that's one more set of batteries to look after and charge. I can go to any OXXO in Mexico and buy batteries for them if I need them, and they're cheap enough to swap out easily. If I need CR123's or 18650's at the last minute I'm screwed. If I need C's or AA's I can pick them up anywhere. I'd rather focus on making sure my primary stuff gets the care it needs. The backup stuff I don't need to invest the mental acuity in maintaining because they're dead simple and stupid easy to get and keep working. 16 AA's for strobes, primary light battery, spare SAFT's or 14500's for Predators. Adding another set and backup set for backup lights is just another added piece of gear to look after unnecessarily.
