Liberty Dive Resort review

Not to hijack the thread, but as another option - I stayed & dove with Dive Bali with Tulamben Wreck Divers - Bali Diving - Home who were also great - the shop is also a short walk from the shore entry for the Liberty, with accomodation at the back - they also have amazing villas a kilometre or two out of town, and they'll loan you a scooter for the ride in, no charge

I knew about Tulamben Wreck Divers before I found Liberty. I decided to go with Liberty because TWD doesn't have wifi.

I dived/stayed with them in October. Loved everything about the place! The room was VERY nice for the cost. Food was good. Couldn't find a complaint about our divemaster if I tried.
Vis wasn't very good but we still managed to see alot. I was surprised by the abundance of fish and critters. Tulamben exceeded my expectations.

Fuggler - I'm actually in Redwood City, CA, so not far from you. How far is the Liberty Dive Resort from Bali?

The Liberty Dive Resort is on the NE side of Bali near Tulamben village. It is about 3 to 3.5 hrs drive from Denpasar airport.
