yes, snorkelling only as far as i know in Donsol

OK, I'll post a few pics...

to start off with...

Early morning at the Sogod Bay Scuba Resort...
Tim, Marijo, Matthew, and Bob

Off to the promise land... Sunok, on the opposite side of Sogod Bay where the whale sharks congregate... unfortunately, that was the only sunshine we saw that day...

We stopped by the local village to hire a couple of "spotters"...

next thing you know, everyone is shouting "whale shark!" and we scramble to kit up and jump in...

I got real lucky... In all the chaos of 8 divers jumping in from 1 bangka and cameras being thrown in the water, I happen to jump in right in the path of our first whale shark...

But once the whale shark got a whiff of kimchi from my wetsuit, it started taking evasive action...
