i wonder if you could paint a boat like a dive flag and it be a legal flag/marker.

I have a 2ft square float... with a 1/2ft of foam underneath.... you can place a flag in the middle and there is a LARGE Ring ontop<it's used to hold Large diametere wiring> and there is one on the bottom... The top ring is so you can hook to a back of a boat and creat a trail line, the one underneath is to use for your downline.. you can set gear on this float... hang tanks... it's just bulky but meh.. IT won't sink, and it works... thats the main thing.....
