Kumusta po sa inyong lahat...

I just barely had my OW license sa Boracay last month. Now, want to get hooked with this "scuba" thingy ...kaka addict pala :D

Few questions: I planned to have my succeeding dives sa Pinas, anong ideal thickness ng wet suit ba ang dapat kung bilhin?

Also, planned to dive at Camiguin by October 2007 then do some mountain trekking sa Hibok-hibok (my other outdoor libangan), how's the dive in there and would anybody be interested to join the scuba diving n trekking adventure?

Salamat po...

welcome too ppd jun!

since you're probably used to the cold, a 0.5mm will suit you. you might find 3.0mm too warm. i have a 3.0mm since i get cold easily. versatile34's from CdO (i think) so he's the best person to answer your camiguin question.

here's his cagayan and camiguin thread:

O.k. I guess I wear a heavier wet suit than the locals. I used to use a 3mm but with repetitive dives (3-4 each day over 3-5 days) I get cold at the end of dives so I got a 5mm Bare for Philippine diving which keeps me comfortable. Next time I might even add a beanie.:D
