Here is the latest costs to obtain the first 59 day extension after spending an initial 59 days in the R.P.
These costs include the newly required ACR-I Card. It is valid for one year. If you exit the RP during that year the card is supposed to be confiscated upon exit. Even if Immigration forgets to take it the card is void and a new one is required upon the first 59 day extension after returning to the RP for the first 59 days.
I think the next added "scheme" to get more money out of foreign visitors may sway my decision not to return to the RP.
Extension Fee 1000
Application Fee 300
Rentry Permit 250
Head tax 250
Visa Fees ECC 700
Certification Fee 500
LRF 50
ACR - I Card 2331
Express Lane 500
Certification 500
ACR - I Card (cost of card) 500
TOTAL 6881 Pesos (approx. $150.00 US)
