Late May Early June in SF ? Carmel?

Wristshot pretty much said it all (good job). Most diving around Monterey is shore diving. Check out http://www.shorediving.com/Earth/USA_West/index.htm for decent descriptions & directions. We'd be under Northern CA. Viz can vary greatly among different sites. In July I dove Lover's Point and had 30-35 feet viz. Later that afternoon dove Monterey State Beach (approx. 1 mile away) and had viz of 4-5 feet in the green algae bloom.

There are some great places to dive right in Carmel as well! try Monestary Beach located just south of Carmel in Pacific Grove,Its an excellent site for A deep dive,and A very advanced beach entry!! I'm not sure weather or not hunting is allowed there either,the game laws here are changing almost daily!Just drop in to the local dive ctr.,they should be able to give you more up to date info at that time.

Hey Kelp Divers.
Heading back out on Nov 18th for a wedding in SF and then kicking around through Thanks Giving. Plan to be in Monteray to dive at least 1 day and visiting my cuz in Carmel. May be too soon to line up a buddy - but any takers ? Otherwise will book something with a shop. Are there any boats where the DMs also dive? IE: I am cool solo if I know the site - But not comfertable otherwise also my wife would get pissed.

let me know if you get anything going for that weekend you're up here...i'd take you up on the buddy offer, but you got a few more dives than me...but if you're thinking of getting a boat or something, let me know...

Hey there will in the water off mtry Nov 21. Down in Carmel for the nigh on the 20th and diving early on the 21st. Any taker- no real plan a boat dive would be great but will also hook up with a shop and do a shore dive no issues there either. Ideas??
