Lasik in 2001 - never a problem and I dive a lot...deep as 400 fsw a few times.

Welcome to the forum.

Short Answer: Go diving. It will most likely work out well.

Longer Answer: I had several surgeries from 1984 to 1996. I dove until 2016 with no contacts or anything and without problem, despite glare/halo/starburst issues in nighttime on dry land. As vision got worse, as it often does post eye surgery, I had to start wearing scleral lenses. These pretty much remove the halo, glare and starburst issues on land and underwater also.
