I notice that the models are never bald or have receeding hairlines either, no matter their age.

Mine(pant size) is a 36/32 so I have a little amount of room to talk...lol...You answered your question with your question.....

I have probably only seen a couple of people in wetsuits that have looked as hot as the models in scuba diving ads... And even then, they did not look so crash hot post-dive. I would not worry about your size at all and just go diving! :)

Greetings Jax once again and you have no worries my friend. Just relax and allow diving to encourage a healthy life style. In my case I shed about 20-25 pounds in the first summer. It really was a great help to eat dive friendly foods that are awesome for dieting as well. I found that the physical exercise of under water propulsion to be a great burner of calories. Just do not worry about it, get started and you will be amazed what can take place. In the future and I mean that if and when you purchase a Dry Suit size becomes an issue. I have found that a few extra pounds can make my DS a little tight. But hey, no big deal just exercise more and eat healthy. No worries!
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!

Well i know you most likly have what you need but here. You should have no peoblem getting equipment that will fit you i just finshed o/w and we had a guy that was 340.

.....

Thanks for all the responses. I was looking more into equipment fit vs how I look (I'm already married, so now I can just blimp out...right? :) ) I didn't know if they only made equipment to fit the anorexic of the world, or if they made equipment to fit the happy fat man.

Glad to know I can still be happy!
