Anyone have any idea where in the lake you can get 251 even when the lake is at 681?

Bluebonnet Hole

By my reckoning the river channel at Windy Point is 165' deep when the lake is full (681) Might be a little deeper at the base of the dam (maybe 180??)

I've heard from several people who've dove Bluebonnet Hole that it bottoms out at 90. I've even got a contour map with it on there and it doesn't show deeper than 80ish in that area.

Still don't see the historical importance... I agree it makes for better diving - Bluebonnet Hole, Tom Hughs, Starnes Island, Shaker Plant, etc....

Because recent diving history is the history that matters most to me, and that history has been sorely lacking in boat diving travis area due to lack of ramps in the water

If you don't consider diving stuff important, historically or otherwise, maybe you're on the wrong board? :D

Currently the depth of Travis has more significance in my life than most other things the news shows seem to consider significant.
