Can't remember who actually found it but my dive buddy Sherry took the saddle home with hopes of restoring it. May be more costly than she expected.
Called the manufacturer and found it to be made sometime in the early to mid 70's. Curious how it got out in the lake.
 
There were more than 1,200 volunteers, including over 600 scuba divers and 600 working the shoreline. Together, the volunteers gathered approximately seven tons of trash - up significantly from last year's cleanup, which brought in five tons.

Glad the event was productive and fun. Hopefully I can give it a shot next year.
