DivePilot and I dove Lake Travis, Mansfield Park, in the cove this morning. Vis was about 6 feet, temp was 53 degrees down to 70 feet. I think the surface is about 55 or 56, but that doesn't last long. We grilled our steaks at the Dive area and looking at the water appeared to be clearer, at the dive area, than what we could see from shore at the cove. The water is at 684 MSL and is up to the second set of steps from the lake. Will be back out there Sunday with my MSD student.

Ron, Ivan and I went to Travis on monday for my Nitrox dives, temp was 57 down to 40....viz was good...probably 6-8 until about 30-35 when it began to get soupy...will be out again on Sunday morning....Maybe ill see you guys soon....

Hi, AutinPDDiver,
So you were the one Ivan had at the lake Monday! Congratulations on your Nitrox cert. I had an MSD student at the lake on Sunday. We had the same thing. Looking tonight the water is starting to warm up.
