Yeah, that sounds good to me too. May is a busy month for me though. I have my wife's graduation for her Master's on May 10th, and I'm going to the nascar race in Charlotte with some college buddies the weekend of the 25th. The rest of the month should be open for me. I might be able to dive during the week if a weekend doesn't work too. My brother might be coming in to visit at the end of the month. He's a non-diver, but he would probably enjoy taking my canoe out while we dove. Just let me know when you were thinking about coming up in May and we'll go from there. The later in the month the better though with the temps I'd think.

I used to ride the dragon on 2 wheels quite a bit myself. It's a ton of fun. I had a "career" ending injury during an amateur roadracing accident in Daytona a few years ago, so I don't ride much any more. Maybe one day!

Dive report from Lake Santeetlah, Monday May 26th. The surface temp was 70, and at around 20/25ft the temp was around 55. I was diving in my 5mm wetsuit, and didn't get cold except for my hands, face, and mostly my ears. The sad part about it is I have a hood and gloves that I didn't take w/ me, otherwise I would have been fairly toasty. Vis was probably around 15-20ft. I'm planning on going back either in mid-June or end of June, and hopefully it has warmed up a bit by then.

I did a quick dive at Santeetlah yesterday. I was using the remaining air in one of my tanks, so I didn't stay down long and only went to 16ft. While I didn't go very deep, the water has warmed up a bit. The surface temp was 76 (up 7 degrees from 2 weeks ago) and the temp at 16ft was 63. I probably won't be able to do another dive here until July. I expect by then it should be really warm with all the really hot weather we've been having.
