Do you know of any places on the western side of lake Michigan that are suitable for shore diving? Thanks.

Evanston, Illinois; Greenstreet Beach: The George Morley 100 yd's out 12 ft down sank 1897.
Zion, Illinois; Illinois Beach State Park: The 'Zion Minesweeper', 400 ft out, 12 ft down.

Look up Kris Kohls book The Great Lakes Diving Guide. :D

You will probably find more opportunities in Wisconsin, especially around Door County. Green Bay Scuba publishes a pamphlet listing a number of sites. Their web site is Green Bay Scuba Online! Green Bay, Wisconsin. You might want to give them a call and see if they will mail you out one.
