I was wondering what there is to see really on the Fireboat located right by the Willie. I saw the boiler but not too much more.....did I miss something? Thanks.

I thought it was an interesting old wood fireboat, recently discovered. If I remember correctly, it had one hell of a prop on it. I did find a piece of china at the wreck, and left it there for you!

Darn, I always miss those subtle gifts lol.

I haven't dove it, but I saw Jerry's presentation at the Ghostship festival. The fire boat was stripped and scuttled so there won't be just a whole lot there. This doesen't mean it's not an interesting dive, you just have to use a little more imagination to figure out whats what. If all else fails, slow down and watch the critters that inhabit the wreck.
