I dove the Kueka this weekend on Lake Charlevoix and replaced the surface bullet float with a new one. The sub surface 5 gal. jug has cracked and filled with water and I will have to replace it. I also put a new tag line and surface bullet float on the Jacob P. Enjoy your diving this summer everyone.

Thanks for the information and efforts to preserve the dive sites.
KUDOS my friend!

Hey all, I'm going to be up in Charlevoix for my honeymoon and we'll be staying right across the lake from the Kueka. We don't have our own gear though, is there a place in Charlevoix that rents gear?

Congrats on the wedding. There is no place in Charlevoix. Traverse City I think would be the closest. I did replace the 5 gal. sub surface bouy and the mooring is now in great shape. Water temp was 59 at the surface and 48 on the bottom. Lots of rock bass and some nice size perch. I have done night dives on this wreck when they shoot off the fireworks on Fri. night at venetian festival. A great light show sitting on the upper deck in 25 feet of water.

Northwest Scuba is in East Jordan (South Arm of Lake Charlevoix) 231-536-0235. They also rent gear

Scuba North is in TC
