I recall reading in another thread here someone recommending ketchup squeeze bottles to flush the system out. Something like this with the pointy tip:

Jim, Thanks for the warning and speedy recovery to you. After reading this I'm running out to buy a couple of these ASAP. I figure I'll keep one with a white vinegar solution as a first rinse and another with water for a final rinse, and just clear the system at the end of the day.

Hey, now they look like a nice tool for the job. Though I don't know if I'd ever be able to eat a hot dog again...:shakehead
