You are fabulous. I like your design.

For the reference, KOMI stands for Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan/Missouri, and Indiana/Illinois. We added Missouri and Illinois later.


Yes, our KOMI name is a future oriented concept to include six states in mid-west.
The front design should be simple like you designed based on my experience.

Suggestion:

1. We might put a geographical map of six states on the back as a back ground, so it can give some ideas about KOMI. And, we can add any additional letter on the back.
2. How about a little dark color on the letter, “KOMI”? I hate seeing the letter is faded out over time.

At any rate things are moving along without it. With any luck I will have time to color and add.

OK I know I am going to catch hell for this one but I thought the whole KOMI idea died last year? Most everyone that has "joined" KOMI came from the KPP and automatically became KOMI. I really don't care if we do a KOMI shirt but I think we need to do seperate shirts. BTW, I do like the design.

You are right, but it is an exact same path as we got through last time if you dig out the old thread.

We initially tried to make a name based on KPP or Indiana and then, there were some voices to ask more comprehensive name that could cover other divers from the neighbor states.


If you still have a KOMI directory, we have IL and MO members who are interested in KOMI, but we never made an official trip to other dive sites out of KY and IN so far.

I am just trying to give a back ground about KOMI.....

I don't see any reason why we can't have two shirts. CafePress makes it very easy, they don't care if anyone orders one or a thousand shirts so it's just a matter of coming up with the artwork. I'll gladly put both of them up for anyone who wants to order one.

I do however feel that we should do a KPP shirt. The KPP has a history that goes back to the beginning of ScubaBoard itself. Look back at this post. http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=185723

I would personally be proud to wear both shirts but for different reasons.

The sad part is that when I look at the KOMI email list there are only 3 of us that dive. I don't mind a KOMI shirt I just keep hearing that KOMI is dead and then next year it returns.
