Kona Lodging (Thanksgiving)

I'm planning a trip to Kona for Thanksgiving weekend. We'd arrive Thursday afternoon and have to leave Sunday for Maui. I'm looking for suggestions for a B&B or "quaint" place to stay, close enough for easy commutes for dinner, etc, but not at a resort? Any suggestions?

I also get to dive one day while there (celebrating 25th anniversary but my wife doesn't dive) so welcome dive op suggestions. I'd love to get a manta dive in.
