Sure Howard, lure me out to Ft Lauderdale, then make a run for some SoCal diving. ;)
You should be blaming NetDoc

HowardE:
You mean they're not all 3 tank dives :11:

I hope we can get 3 more people.

Unfortunately with fewer than six, the trip is two tank guided... although I'm sure we can forego that. Of course you may enjoy diving with whatever instructor/DM is on board!

I think another thread with a more descriptive title placed in the SoCal forum might help attract a few more divers.

Two weeks, and we need 3 divers....

PLEASE :D

Bill,

Are you saying that when the KN goes out with less than 6 divers that your dives must be "guided" dives?

I've never heard of that in SoCal, but figure I must just be misunderstanding.

Christian

Not even 1 more person? Does everyone in So Cal work every day??

I think I may have a diver or two talked into this. Hard to believe it would take any arm twisting!

By the way, two dives today (only four other divers on board) and I thought the water was awfully warm! I haven't downloaded the computer, but it only stores the lowest temperature anyway.

I'm not above bribery - It's our ONLY diving day

I'd join ya, but we are setting up on Friday -- or so I am told.

Christian... when fewer than six divers go out, it is a guided two-tank trip vs the normal 3-tank unguided trip. This is because there is a single DM on board plus the captain (who can't leave the vessel... even if it sinks!).

However, I think given the nature of the group we will be fine without the need for a guide. I talked to Bob this weekend.

It looks like IslandCowGirl will join us. She e-mailed me this morning.

Oh, the water temp dropped again. I was getting 55-58 degrees min temp within normal rec depths... and 50-51 at my max depths over the weekend.
