I'm considering a family vacation to Key Largo in March during my son's spring break. He is too young to dive, but is an avid snorkeler. I'm a failrly experienced diver and look forward some wreck diving. How are the conditions that time of the year? How's the weather, the water conditions, etc.? Thanks.

the weather that time of year can be hit or miss, but if you're going to be there for a full week you will certainly be able to get in some diving, maybe just not every day....vis is usually pretty good then, but again is subject to overall weather, currents, etc...I personally love diving in late winter/early spring as the boats and reefs are not nearly as crowded as summertime...and with proper exposure protection, water temps are "reasonable", usually low 70s or maybe extreme upper 60s if a front blows through or something
