I just don't log dives
finally a terrific stretch of marine conditions offshore the upper keys(nice forecast thru saturday), by far, the best since the fall. after an average catch of lobster freediving yesterday(excellent viz) we motored out to MOLASSES REEF for a two tanker. calm seas and warm sunny skies, mooring buoys M9 and M7. strong/moderate currents kept us on the north end near the winch hole and logans run, few divers as most commercial operators stayed away . nice blue water viz 45FT increasing to 60+, water temp 74-75F @ 20-35FT. 3-4 reef sharks and multiple nurse sharks were observed throughout both dives. joined by tom along with timg, who provided the captures.

Very nice we did Alligator reef no current viz started at 35 ft viz and improved to 50 ft. Plenty of man o wars on the way out none while we were diving.
Couple of turtles and 2 huge lionfish together, never seen them on Alligator.
Two porcupine fish mating and a lobster that chased us and hit my camera strobe with its antennas

Reefman...I see rumors of your demise and divaishness have been greatly exaggerated.:) Great to see you guys back in the water. Us winter, landlocked minions salute you. Wonderful pics TimG. Thanks guys.

Beautiful B&Ws of the Reef Shark, gorgeous Hog Fish.

After being away from SE FL for nearly 2 months, will be back next Friday for 10 days, am hoping for reasonable conditions
