Hi all,

We've done a lot of looking around and it seems both Watamu and Diani have great diving sites. We're heading out in end of November.

The only plus with Watamu seems that it is less touristy and it's got more to offer in terms of nearby snorkeling.

Apart from that I've heard the dive sites in both Diani and Watamu are great.

Any recommendations on what to pick with the following criteria in November:
* Great diving for beginners
* Walk-in snorkelling from beach
* Optional: not too touristy
* Optional: enough to do apart from snorkeling and diving

I'm aware the last two points are more aimed towards a forum like TripAdvisor and probably do not belong here, so ideally if someone had recommendations on the first two points we would appreciate that very much.

Thanks!

Go snorkelling at kisite mpungi marine park near shimoni island. That offers the best snorkelling and I saw humpback whales there and turtles. Better than snorkelling on the coast which is only average IMHO
