A MOST POWERFUL HURRICANE WITH UNPRECEDENTED
STRENGTH...RIVALING THE INTENSITY OF HURRICANE CAMILLE OF 1969.

MOST OF THE AREA WILL BE UNINHABITABLE FOR WEEKS...PERHAPS LONGER. AT
LEAST ONE HALF OF WELL CONSTRUCTED HOMES WILL HAVE ROOF AND WALL

. ALL WINDOWS WILL BLOW OUT.

Scariest warning I have ever seen. Good luck to all!

Just got back from the Caribbean today. Katrina missed us. I'll be praying for everyone else this week.

yeah, this doesn't look good. my sister evacuated New Orleans yesterday, she
drove up and west to Arkansas, to get out of the NE quadrant

she's very bummed out at what she will find when she returns

looks like most of New Orleans is going to get wasted

It's going to be bad.......We have several members from our area teams enroute there from the west coast as advanced IST for FEMA. They already have about 6 USAR (Urban Search and Rescue Teams) and 18 DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Teams) pre positioned in the area just outside the impact areas. I bet in 36 hours the double or triple that number. But the flooding and damage will hit way far north with flooding and other damage.

Like everyone is saying right now be prepard to be on your own for at least a week if not longer. Keep a lot of water on hand 2 - 3 gallons per person per day.

Also it may be nice for the diving community to lend a hand to others as we can after this thing hits and the needs accessments are made.

Gods speed, I'm praying for you.

All of my family is out of harms way thankfully.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

At least my daughter got to see the aquarium. It's right on the river, so I doubt it will survive.
