I'm a Fish!
Recently home from a wonderful trip to Lembeh and a few days in Bali, I can finally share some images and thoughts about the trip.

The Kasawari Lembeh dive resort is, in my opinion, amazing. I loved the small, boutique, feeling. Our group filled the resort (max 20 people). The staff there is top-notch and remembers everything it seems like -- even how you like your eggs and coffee every morning. The villas are nicely appointed with great AC and ceiling fans. The bathrooms include both indoor and outdoor showers which we loved. They have a "customer carries nothing" rule, which is quite nice! The camera room is great and close to the dive center, not that you have to carry your camera anyway.

Diving Lembeh is, as you know, amazing. It's definitely a target-rich environment. The conditions were challenging for photography, with surge even at 80-90fsw! There are some things I will do differently next time, but for my first trip shooting a DLSR underwater, I am pretty happy with the results.

Here are a few images from the trip - all shot with Nikon D7000, 105/2.8G, Subsee +10 (first two only), & two z-240 strobes
