Just bought a new Kaon and it gives the wrong depth. I took it diving with my Suunto Vyper Air - just to compare the two.

It one point the Kaon read 104ft while the Suunto read 53ft. The deeper I went the more it was off. After some research I found that other ppl have had the same issue.
LV wrong depth issue (RW post)

Plus it is not keeping the correct time. After a couple days it lags by a couple minutes.

Anyone else have similar issues?

The time you may calibrate, it's written in manual how to do it. But as for the depth, hmmm, curious...

Both my lynx were out about 10 feet.
Nowhere near what yours is out.
I was told to send in for calibration.
Haven't bothered yet.

Time can be calibrated in the manual.
Easy to do.

I would send it in. Could be a bad sensor or some kind of software issue. Either way, they should be very good about making it right.
The time issue is a nuisance and normal with LV's. The depth is a problem, obviously.
