It missed me by about 2 miles (the way a bird flies). I wanted to show some other pics. Although it doesn't show total destruction, alot of places got hit that weren't necessarily demolished.
 
About 100 cars were damaged in a strip mall...here are 2 of them

It hit a bunch of houses and business' on the Missouri river. I was watching the news and saw a helicopter view and recognized my Uncles street. I immediately called him and he was a bit dazed...didn't know what happened, lost electricity.
Which reminds me...always have one of those "cheap phones" that just plug into your phone outlet laying around. If you lose electricity, at least you will have one phone that works instead of being screwed if you have a cordless and no electricity to run it.
Seems that it missed him by about 500 yards and he didn't even know that the houses down the street were demolished.
Count your blessings.
 
Glad all turned out well for you and your family. Those were some scary storms and they aren't finished. :eek: Thinking of those that weren't so lucky. :(
