And no i haven't forgotten what day tomorrow is... i'm doin what any scuba addict would do... getting some bottom tank and draining a few tanks.

Edit:
I was doing this with a non diver looking over shoulder and they asked... so getting lucky?

How are you suppose to get lucky with bottom tank? :D

Okay lets see, you get somebody tanked and they don't know they have hit rock bottom so you get lucky?

As far as being "legal" only 17 more months of probation !

Well, that's not as long as I got when ....um......NVM.:D

What is up with this bunch? I go diving for a few days and everyone just quits talking? Well, ok, I guess I'll have to do the talking then.:D I tried my new transpac this weekend and I loved it. It is so much more streamlined and it is not nearly as bulky as the seaquest I was using. I was able to stay neutral and horizontal much better. Andy and I have only done one shore dive prior to this weekend and that was about 2 1/2 years ago during our OW checkout. Needless to say, we have alot to learn. I appreciate the patience of those who let us go with them. I look forward to getting alot more practice. That walk to Destin Jetties was a bit much, but I loved St Andrews and I really want to go back there.:)

ha... you aren't the center ... been diving and trying to get ready for trip down to ft lauderdale.

So, offroad, what time should I expect you to come by and pick me up on your way to Ft Lauderale? You do have my address right?

I'm not starting another thread for another dive n dine just yet but I did really like St Andrews at PCB. It is about a 4 hour drive for us so that would definitely make it a weekend for us. They have camping facilities and the little pool area within the jetty is a great swimming area. It would make a great place to bring the whole family, divers and nondivers. There is a little dive shop right there and easy access to the beach area. Any thoughts? Any dates?

My family and I will be in Gulf Shores May 31st-June 3rd. Also June 16-17 I will be in Panama City on a dive trip with Dive Sports. On both those weekend, the high tide at St Andrew's is at a decent time, but I won't be able to jetty dive then. The next good weekend tides (unless you are an early riser) at St. Andrews will be June 30, July 14 and July 28.

Thanks RocketMan. Towards the end of June is sounding good to me right now. I haven't booked my vacation yet for this summer so I will have to do that first before I can see when I will be free.:)
